The Federal Skilled Trades program: It’s a program for people who are qualified in a skilled trade and are willing to become permanent residents of Canada. Candidates who have at least two years of full-time work experience or an equal amount of part-time work experience in a skilled trade are eligible. The experience is only valid if it is within the last five years of your career.

The Canadian Experience Class: The Canadian Experience Class is for skilled workers who have Canadian work experience and want to become permanent residents. You should have at least one year of skilled work experience in Canada during the last three years of your career.
